I'm a trained furniture designer, cabinet-maker and specialist finisher, with 30 years' experience. My workshops are between Worthing and Brighton (UK) and I work across Sussex into London. Our process together
Initial Consultation
When you get in touch, I like to arrange a home visit to discuss your needs, design ideas, and materials. We chat about your vision while I use my sketchbook—practical and creative!

Quote and plan
After we’ve settled on a design concept, I put together a detailed quote. If you're happy, I’ll ask for a deposit to cover materials. At this stage, I’ll arrange a follow-up visit to double-check measurements and discuss any refinements. I create a hand-drawn technical drawing of your piece.

Schedule and build
Once everything is confirmed, I’ll schedule your project in my workshop. There is usually a waiting time of six to eight weeks before I can begin, depending on my workload. Once I start, I’ll carefully craft your piece with the attention to detail it deserves.

Fit and finishing touches
I aim to complete as much of the work as possible in my workshop to keep on-site fitting time to a minimum. This ensures a smoother installation with less disruption to your home. This is my favourite part—seeing your finished piece in place and, most importantly, seeing you happy with it!
